I will always love you, Mom
No matter how far away
It doesn’t matter how long
No matter what some may say
You are the mother God chose
And I will love and respect
The love that you gave — God knows
As I look back and reflect
Mama, I miss you so much
Though it’s been only a week
And though I long for your touch
Comfort in Christ I will seek
Mama, I fervently pray
While in this world I still roam
That we’ll meet again one day
When my Lord Christ calls me home
Mom, your work is completed
It’s time to go to your rest
With Christ, you’re not defeated
I’ll always love you — be blessed!
